Of all the precious metal charts, platinum shows the most cut and dry marks in trends. As you can see in this one year chart that there was a heavy drop last year in not only platinum but most of the markets. But now as the rest of the market has slowed and done not much, platinum is on the steady rise upward.

I could go on, but there's no need. Even looking at up to 10 year charts reflect the same trend: Up! It's not going up in leaps and bounds, but just solid straight up with a very close fast and slow stochastic which suggests steadiness in this trend, and another indicator that it is on the rise.

While gold and silver are the popular winners, if you can invest even a little money in platinum or palladium, I suggest it. When gold and silver fluctuate due to new investors investing on emotion and not on principal, these silent metals will keep their march steady.
